Myriam, it would help a lot if you explained if there was a HAL->UDEV
transition problem (e.g. HAL uuids became invalid) in the first place. Or it
was just a coincidence and the real issues were those two problems you
mentioned in comment #36.

I upgraded to amarok 2.4.1 Beta 1 on 2011-03-20 (built against KDE SC 4.4). I
upgraded from KDE SC 4.4.5 to 4.6.1 on 2011-03-30 while keeping the same amarok
binary and I have NOT lost any bit of statistics. So the question is if I was
lucky or I was not supposed to lose anything? This bug (or actually the bunch
of bugs-in-one) just needs more clarification to lower the heat and concern.

Like Gentoo, Debian will be upgrading from 4.4.5 to >= 4.6.3 so I'm still care
about this problem.
