The issue is still there with xine backend. However, vlc backend handles 
http://217.10.34.84:8000 much better. IMHO, this bug could be closed
/reassigned as it's probably a xine / phonon-backend-xine bug (or problematic
amarok interaction with this backend).

Retested with 2.4.1.
