For me amarok is using around 3,5 GiB of memory. This is definitely too much.

Using Amarok 2.4.0 from Kubuntu Backports PPA and KDE SC 4.6.0
This also happens with cleaned amarok config and apps/ directory and version
2.3. of Amarok.

For me Amarok is unusable at the moment as it slows down my whole system.
Running it with valgrind eats up to 6,5 GiB with my previous amarok config and
collection already scanned.
