This bug does not appear to have anything to do with the "close tab" button; I
can make the problem occur with a normal ^D to log out of the shell in the tab
(which closes the tab).

I'm running Ubuntu 11.04, upgraded from 10.10. The bug was NOT in 10.10, but
rather it appeared when I updated to 11.04. There have been a few updates to
the kdebase package in 11.04 but none have corrected this bug.
