Summary: panel autohide often stops working
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: panel
        AssignedTo: plasma-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: anders@alweb.dk

Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

Since installing kde 4.6, my main plasma panel very often wrongly stays
visible.
Often means that it will happen eventually during a session.

I use either "autohide" or "windows may cover" visibility setting for the
panel.

When the panel locks up, it hides the bottom of my fullscreen window, and there
are no nice way of getting it to behave - so far i found that restarting plasma
is the only way.

After some usage, I figured out that the behavior often happens when using
kickoff, so I removed that and the problem does not appear to happen, except
the panel appears to freeze when starting or stopping activities.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.36-ARCH
Compiler: gcc
