I too am using krdc from OpenSuse, it's still 4.4.4. The issue for me is mainly
about alt-tab. I've no found that, while it fails in full-screen mode, it works
in normal-window mode. This is a shame -- it forces me to hide the menubar in
order to enjoy a full resolution -- but it is a workaround for me.
