Also it is not a problem with Phonon VLC 0.3(.1) since that one does not do CD
playback at all. Git master contains something that should enable it, though I
do not think it implements all features yet...

I for one cannot reproduce this crash at all, which makes it tricky to debug,
my theory is that it is either a bug in xine or Phonon freeing memory that is
used in the crashing function of xine.... hard to tell though without actually
being able to debug this at runtime.
