You're right there should be some way for the user to pause/resume the
indexing. For now you can use -
qdbus org.kde.nepomuk.services.nepomukstrigiservice /nepomukstrigiservice
suspend
qdbus org.kde.nepomuk.services.nepomukstrigiservice /nepomukstrigiservice
resume

I'll try to add a Pause/Resume button in the System Settings. I think I'll have
to break string freeze for that. :(
