Summary: kontact kolab resource doesn't list certain contacts
           Product: kontact
           Version: 4.4.5
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: contacts
        AssignedTo: tokoe@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kusi@forum.titlis.org

Version: 4.4.5 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

I store my kontact data on an IMAP server in kolab2 format. I create a new
contact on one computer and sync the corresponding email account. On the second
computer, I sync the kolab email account in order to retrieve the new address.
I see the email with the correct kolab.xml attached in the email box. However,
the new contact doesn't show up in the addressbook on the second computer,
despite its existence in the email account on the second computer.

not all contacts show up in the addressbook, but just some. I had a look at the
kolab.xml files and tried to figure out a pattern which show up and which not.
I couldn't find any. I tried with very basic contact, sometimes they show up,
sometimes not.

As I told, this is not an email issue, since all contacs are downloaded
correctly from the IMAP server. The issue is the link between the IMAP account
and the addressbook.

let me know if you need more informations
