I have a DELL Vostro3500 which comes with Core i3 and a Intel HD Graphics card.
And a fresh installed Slackware system. The xorg version is 1.9.1. Some default
effects are on, for example, Blur, Thumbnails, Translucency etc.

Actually Present Windows effects starts quickly(the windows arranged throughout
the screen quickly). But the switching is slow. If you move your mouse to an
other window thumbnail, there will be a long lag before the window got
highlighted. This makes it unusable for windows switching in daily use.
