Removing the clock applet might have worked for some people, but two Bug 254997
and Bug 255006, which are marked as (indirect) duplicates of this bug, are not
clock related. I could be that they were misidentified as duplicates. It could
also be all of these bugs are caused by the a (yet unidentified) error that is
only in some cases connected to the clock applet.
