Just tried it again, with a debug build and the crash went away. Looks like a
heisenbug. At least I got some additional information from stderr, which
weren't present in the crashed before:

Object::disconnect: Unexpected null parameter
Object::disconnect: Unexpected null parameter
... (repeat severeal times)
Object::connect: No such signal KDevelop::CommandExecutor::failed(
QProcess::Error ) in
/home/gpiez/src/kdevelop/projectbuilders/cmakebuilder/cmakejob.cpp:102
