Nothing. OP isn't using KDE anymore and there's no other report like this.

Since this has rather been an issue in the driver/Xorg -maybe even Qt, the info
about affected clients isn't detailed enough- than in kwin, the backingstore is
rather depreached and should not even be used unless you disable compositing, i
suggest to mark it upstream until so. comes up with it again *shrug*
