From kde-bugs-dist Wed Jun 02 18:51:09 2010 From: Charles Samuels Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 18:51:09 +0000 To: kde-bugs-dist Subject: [Bug 240505] New: panel forgets size Message-Id: X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-bugs-dist&m=127550469202793 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=240505 Summary: panel forgets size Product: plasma Version: unspecified Platform: Debian testing OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: panel AssignedTo: plasma-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: charles@kde.org Created an attachment (id=47616) --> (http://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=47616) Before I kill plasma-desktop Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.3) OS: Linux My corner panel with various icons, a pager, a tray, and the basic clock keeps on forgetting its length. My panel is vertical and lives in a corner. I've attached a bunch of screenies. Of course, even when it has a minimum size, it's still too big, looks like the clock applet asks for way more space than it really needs. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) The panel isn't so crazily sized right now, because I manually resized it. 2) My manually set minimum size (with the little slidy arrow) is smaller than the actual minimum size (because I want the panel as tiny as possible) 3) killall and restart plasma-desktop 4) The panel's the wrong length! :( To get it to the normal size again, I need to first resize it _larger_ than what its minimum should be, than shrink it down again with the "minimum size" slidy arrow. Actual Results: I got annoyed. Expected Results: I should not be annoyed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
