sorry, i have to reopen.

some things are fixed for me now, like "align to grid" and some other options
do not re-layout my desktop unintentionally. thanks for that.

but there are still cases, where these bug does apply:
for example I make the icon-size smaller. in this case there is really no need
to throw away my relative icon-position-grid. and even if I would make the
icons larger, I think there are better ways to re-align the icons than do a
complete re-layout.
