I have attached a proposed patch to not include constructors in . and -> member
access.  I couldn't get review board to accept my git patch :(  It also
includes a change to a test that now verifies the . part is working correctly. 
I can add a test for the -> and static:: case.

As long as this is truly a language limitation I'd say this can go in.

In regards to completion when typing ~, this works for me with kdevelop 4.0 /
kde 4.4.
