Version:           3.10.2 (using KDevPlatform 0.10.2) (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2),
Gentoo)
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.33.2

When configuring a launch with "Use separate terminal for I/O" and debugging
that launch, a dialogbox pops up with "GDB cannot use the tty* or pty*...".

Permission have been set to 777, and the user is in the tty group, the error
persists.

gdb is 

GNU gdb (Gentoo 7.0 p2) 7.0
This GDB was configured as "x86_64-pc-linux-gnu".
