Summary: K3b does not detect blank media when trying to burn an
iso image
Product: k3b
Version: 1.70.0
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: michalm@jabster.pl
ReportedBy: peter.fajdiga@gmail.com
CC: trueg@k3b.org
Version: 1.70.0 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), Mandriva Linux release
2010.0 (Official) for x86_64)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.12-desktop-1mnb
When attempting to write an iso image, K3b does not detect the inserted blank
medium and the burn button is greyed out. Tested with CDs and DVDs (CD iso and
DVD iso respectively).
Curiously, this bug only appears with iso images, burning works flawlessly when
burning files normally by adding them to a project.
Steps to reproduce:
-open an iso image with k3b
-notice "Please insert an empty medium" in the media list
-insert empty medium
-wait infinitely
-notice "Please insert an empty medium" is still in the media list
