Ahh crap that explains it. I typo'ed the above in comment:20. Sorry, I should
have copied and pasted it... it was late and I was tired. Sorry for the wasted
effort there :(
For reference the correct command is:
PHONON_PULSEAUDIO_DISABLE=1 okular o.pdf
Anyway, seems like Pino was on the right track with the eventloop borkedness
which I reworked and now seems to be sorted with the latest patch :)
