I have similar issues with the dialog. Indeed, I think it would be better to
have the two suspend options as separate options, set apart from the
logout/shutdown/restart options, since they keep the session intact, instead of
logging out. In fact, I would assume that many people (like me) usually just
suspend to disk, and rarely shutdown, in which case it is annoying/inefficient
to have the suspend options under shutdown (in a hard to reach menu). (I quite
often accidentally select shutdown instead of suspend the way the dialog is
currently structured.)
