Summary: One busy applet blocks plasma
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: plasma-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: yg@mind.lu

Version: 4.3.95 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Immediately after boot, I wanted to change the date format of the digital clock
which is in my plasma panel.
About 5 seconds passed between the right click on "Digital Clock settings" and
the appearing of the settings dialog for the clock.

During these 5 seconds there awas huge disk IO, and the rest of plasma was
blocked. The K-Menu e.g. did not receive my left click.

I have as well the impression that the whole plasma is almost frozen while the
network-manager plasmoid is busy.

Could it be there is no separation between the plasmoids?
