--- Comment #6 from <oneforall gmail com> 2010-01-08 04:47:42 ---
Thats a HUGE problem with the rewrite. It remove common sense. The common sence
beginning people don't expect the new version of kde to be a NEW application.
But new enhancements feature old ones fixed . The common sense too is that new
is NOT always going to be better period. I think there has been enough proof of
that already and more comes in . classic menu dropped setting menu konq file
mode etc etc. These are things that should never have been drooped in the first
place. But even with all this its still not sinking in enought I see.I base
that one the responses I get that aren't very pleasing at all on most. To bad
,wontfix and put that on the wish list(which when you read about the wishlist
its never going to get fixed this release)
But I still with not much hope the way things are going it will be fixed soon .
I herd that for example that classic menu wasn't considered good but you see
that was wrong . Most of what was taken as not considered good wasn't based on
something that just couldn't be fixed and was allways broken. But its from what
I've read so far was opinions.
Anyways I still do hope it does get fixed and many of the other dropped things
that people do like . I do like some of the new but not all. But I would only
want them dropped if they stop the app I liked from working, when they
shouldn't . Other wise it nice for that other choice.
So am I supposed to redo this on the wish list now or some how change it to the
wish list?
