Summary: new klipper defaults cause unexpected problems in text
                    apps
           Product: klipper
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kde@mosehansen.dk
        ReportedBy: jpwhiting@kde.org
                CC: dimsuz@gmail.com

Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: latest stable gcc
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

I have had this problem for a couple of weeks on three different machines all
built from trunk source. I have never opened klipper's settings dialog, but
when I copy something, then make a new selection to paste what I copied before,
it copies and pastes the new selection back into place instead of what I copied
on purpose.

I finally went into klipper settings and found the default setting "Synchronize
contents of the clipboard and the selection" was checked. Unchecking that
fixed my problem, but I thought that was a bit of a problem for a default
setting. I believe this should definitely be fixed before 4.4 is released.
