Jan, you mean the splitter that can be moved horizontally right?

Am I right that you're using tabs? That seems to make quite a difference,
especially on such small monitors. Without tabs one can make the editor-area
really small (the right-side Documentation toolview has a pretty wide
default-size which is limiting the movement). If that is the case I don't think
we can  or should do anything about it. After all you can also maximize the
toolviews if you need the space temporarily.
