Ok understood. I thought I read somewhere that the tooltip was not using strigi
to get the exif info, I might have misread.

I see you updated the blog, that's good for follow-up.

So you target 4.5 to have that fixed for both tooltip and info panel?
That's most probably about summer 2010, right?

Then if you are confident to get over this for all files of all folders of all
devices showing all meta data info, for summer 2010, I think we can live until
then, knowing a solution is possible and would be targeted. I can accept the
compromise, it would be much better than "maybe we'll fix it" or "no idea when
and if"... I love so much that feature, it's so useful. :(

But we must then ensure it will be part of the 4.5 features list.
