Summary: Observing list Wizard not smart enough
           Product: kstars
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: akarshsimha@gmail.com
        ReportedBy: pogzy@yahoo.com
                CC: mutlaqja@ikarustech.com

Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It seems that there is no data filter after indicating the date, whereas a date
of observation should take away about half of available objects.
Moreover, the date should be set by default to the current system date, the one
that KStars is set to.

In the same wizard, there is a list to filter by region (all over the sky, by
constellation, in a rectangular region, in a circular region).
It could also help to be able to have all objects between a starting hour and
an ending hour (of an observing session). Which is IMHO the more often case.
And to clean this list, a last but not least param could be a lower boundary
(i.e. no object below 15 °degree above the horizon). This last param could help
because objects near the horizon are not observable due to bad sky conditions
(except in some exceptionnal places).
