not sure if this is a good idea to be that clever. i know the text editor yzis
does this, though.

if you want to have this functionality you could put this in your .bashrc:

function kwritelinenum() { kwrite `echo "--line ${1/*:/} ${1/:*/}"`; }
alias kwrite=kwritelinenum

(this can probably be done in a more elegant way ;)
