Ok, I think I have it.  The CMakeProjectVisitor does not search for 
gtest.h in

/usr/local/include/gtest/

In my system (Fedora 11), this is where the header files are installed.

I think it should be fixed by adding this directory in the 
CMakeProjectVisitor when searching for an include file.
