After discussion with the artist (Pinheiro), we agree that both (current and
suggested) buttons have pros and cons: 

The current arrow orientation are indeed counter-intuitive in terms of which
direction the window is actually shaded/unshaded to, but are consistent with
the "maximize" and "minimize" buttons. 

The suggested change is the exact opposite. (imagine a title bar with a
downward pointing minimize button, upward pointing maximize button, and upward
pointing shade button ...)

We prefer keep the buttons unchanged.
