Hi, the screenshot at bug 198715 is done with compositing enabled. With
compositing disabled there is no shadow at all. But isn't kwin drawing shadows
only around borders?, or it is drawing on the entire window.

In my case:
a) The deco has no round corners.
The round corners are due to the fuzziness value (25) in the shadow config, if
I make the fuzziness 0 there will be no rounding on the VirtualBox window
either. The idea of shadows is further confirmed by the Kwin edge attraction:
the edge attraction area does no correspond to the shadow area.

b) Changing deco does not help.
c) This doesn't help either.
