It became a bit better in 4.3 betas (currently I have rc2) - for example in
some cases I was able to logout/login and session was restored without "restore
after crash" notification, but most time I still receive it.

I think the main issue is that konqueror crashes on poweroff/logout, other
issues just follow this one and happen much more rare (I do not remember having
lost windows for recent time, probably because currently I have less multitab
windows saved in a session).
