AFAIK, my patch has been commented out from the sources, thus reverting
kpackagekit behaviour, which I find quite frustrating since I have to check the
option every time I start kpackagekit (Fedora's repositories often have
multiple version of the same package).

I am still not sure why it was commented, maybe usability problems? Anyway,
since this is a "feature" I want to take care of, I'd like to be informed when
it is removed instead of silently revert the commit. This way we can't work out
a better solution together...
