I'd also love to see the information about the width and height of a picture in
the tooltips and the information panel of dolphin again without having to
activate strigi. Strigi slows down the system a lot and awfully clutters up the
harddisk and I don't need all other functions of a desktop search (despite the
IMHO really not desktop search related information about picture sizes). The
width and height of a picture is the most important information about a picture
IMHO beside the preview so it's a "must" to have it available. Maybe there is
another way to get this information in dolphin without strigi? Wouldn't it be
possible to read it from an alternative exif application that doesn't collect
information like strigi but just reads it from the picture when you access the
picture?
