Summary: username and password are not editable
           Product: knetworkmanager
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: plasmoid
        AssignedTo: wstephenson@kde.org
        ReportedBy: dominik@upb.de
                CC: sebas@kde.org

Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Hi,

in the vpnc configuration dialog in the network manager plasmoid i can check
the "override username" option, but then the "username" field below it is still
not editable, meaning that i can not specify a username for vpnc, which , in
turn, means that i cant use the network manager plasmoid to manage my vpn
connections. Is there a way around this? The vpnc configuration i need the
network manager to use looks like this:
#BEGIN CONFIG FILE
IPSec gateway some.gateway.com
IPSec ID some-group
IPSec secret some-group-pw
NAT Traversal Mode cisco-udp
Xauth username some-bozo
#END CONFIG FILE
I don't know where this bug comes from, exactly. apparently some people were
able to use that setting just fine. maybe a packaging or configuration issue?
