Summary: Kwin crash after key got stuck
           Product: kwin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwin@kde.org
        ReportedBy: octavian.voicu@gmail.com

Application that crashed: kwin
Version of the application: 4.2.95 (KDE 4.2.95 (KDE 4.3 RC1))
KDE Version: 4.2.95 (KDE 4.2.95 (KDE 4.3 RC1))
Qt Version: 4.5.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.04

What I was doing when the application crashed:
At some point, one of the keys on my keyboard got stuck, so nothing on the
keyboard worked anymore. This is a really frequent and annoying bug. The key
remains stuck only for the current session, so if I switch to a virtual
terminal it works normally and a logout fixes the problem.

Except that I couldn't use the keyboard, everything worked normally. After
switched to a virtual terminal with Ctrl+Alt+F1 and then returning to the
desktop, the screen was kind of black (with some artefacts) and not responding.
After some time, kwin crashed and everything went back to normal. This is the
crash report, although I couldn't find libGLcore debug symbols (don't thing
there are any unless I compile the lib myself).

Hope this helps. I would especially like to help in tracking the initial key
got stuck bug, not sure if it's related directly to the crash. Not sure where
to start to track that bug, though.
