I knew the CTRL+F12 trick already.

What I am trying to point out is that I *DO NOT* want to see any plasmoids on
my desktop when using KDE normally, and that I want them to pop up on my screen
*ONLY* when I press Ctrl+F12.

Mac OS X's dashboard behaves so.

Instead at the moment I do see plenty of plasmoids on my desktop and the only
thing that Ctrl+F12 does, is to put them in foreground, at top of any windows.
