Summary: powerdevil should not increase brightness when
switching to a more conservative power profile if
brightness is already lower than default for that
profile
Product: solid
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: powerdevil-daemon
AssignedTo: drf54321@gmail.com
ReportedBy: anish.7@gmail.com
Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
Compiler: gcc 4.4
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
when switching between to more conservative power profiles, brightness should
not increase.
eg, i have powersave configuration set to 50% screen brightness and i've
already decreased brightness to lower than 50%, say 30% when on the performance
profile. now, when powerdevil switches from performance to powersave based on
battery level, brightness increases to 50%. this is undesirable behavior .
brightness should not increase when switching to a more conservative profile.
