           Summary: Titlebar wheel event "Sahde/Unshade" graphically
                    inconsistent
           Product: kwin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwin@kde.org
        ReportedBy: frankebay99@gmail.com

Version:            (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

In the Desktop Effects there is an option to SHADE windows by using the scroll
button of the mouse when hovering on the Window Title. It's the TITLEBAR WHEEL
EVENT. It then hides the window content and only keeps the window title
displayed.

The function is graphically inconsistent in the way that it keeps the window
content in the background and shades/hides only the border. The content is not
accessible, it is only "painted" on the screen. When performing more actions,
it then removes the content but paints content of other windows that get
closed. Quite inconsistent graphically speaking.

Attached screenshots will demonstrate.
- shade_unshade1.png shows the options applied;
- shade_unshade2.png shows what happens when shading a window (only the
left-right-bottom borders are hidden and the window content is in fact not
accessible but still displayed on screen);
- shade_unshade3.png shows what happens after multiple print screens of the
desktop. Even when not shading, it affects other windows around.

openSUSE 11.2 64-bits Milestone 2 KDE4.

KDE version 4.2.86 (KDE 4.2.86 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090514)) "release 1"
Graphic card Vendor: NVIDIA
Model: GeForce 8600 GT/PCI/SSE2
Driver: 3.0.0 NVIDIA 185.18.14

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Apply shade option as shown in screenshots;
2. Shade-unshade any window and press print screen 1-2 times to capture desktop
screens.

Actual Results:
As explained above.

Expected Results:
Window content should disappear when shading and re-appear when unshading. It
should not keep window contents painted on the desktop when shading or when
shading and performing other actions such as desktop screen capture.
