Thanks for the explanation. But wouldn't it be better in that case to handle it
the way dolphin does when I create a new file with a slash in it? I can create
a file like "bla/text.txt", it just seems that another slash is used which is
more tilted than the one used for the directories. So Dolphin is able to
substitute the unwanted slash with another character.

When I save weblinks als URL.desktop it could be done the same way I guess? Or
replace the / by an underscore? With %2f in saved weblinks' filenames it gets
hard to read. I'd prefer underscores instead of the fake slash because I can
type underscores but not those fake slashes.

I guess this should go to wishlist then?
