I'm having the same issues as described above.

This is a screenshot (link below) of what happens when I activate KdeSudo. the
same problem occurs in Gwenview when viewing images full-screen. I am also
experiencing the strange glowy borders around krunner and plasma tooltips, and
the entire desktop shifting up by one pixel when blur is enabled. With blur
off, none of these issues exist.

I have tried every NVidia driver there is to no avail, and every version of KDE
from 4.0.0 to 4.2.85, from Qt 4.3 to 4.5.1 (all i've tested), experiences the
same issues. I'm currently running KDE 4.2.85 with Qt 4.5.1 and the 185.18.10
NVidia driver.
