Hi, I have the same problem. Apparently, the directory is not created and the
CMAKE_CURRENT_BINARY_DIR env var is not properly set. 
Last time it decided to happily build in $HOME. Cleanup was painful. :)

What information can we users provide to help debug this problem ?

Versions:
3.9.92 (using KDevPlatform 0.9.92) from Debian experimental.
kde 4.2.2 underneath
