comment #53 is misleading, if nothing else. it was decided not to make qca part
of the kde api by using it visibly. but it was explicitly stated that using qca
to implement backend functionality is welcomed, and i think a few kde apps
actually do that. of course that makes everyone's life harder, but oh, well.

moving the bug to kdelibs to attract some attention and finally get a
resolution.
