           Summary: Plasma transparent panel configuration
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: plasma-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kde-2@dotancohen.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I thought that there was a bug filed for this already, but I cannot find it.

Currently the user cannot configure no transparency for the Plasma panels when
Composting is enabled. This makes some parts of the screen difficult to see.
See attached screenshot.

The fix would be allowing the user to configure no transparency on a per panel
basis.
