To be clear: KNetworkManager is _also_ a KDE 3 application - you don't KDE4 for
that. In KDE 3.5 (and I think even KDE 3.4) the two co-existed. So switching to
KNetworkManager is not a computational resource problem.

For KWiFiManager: if it doesn't work in your environment, don't start the
application. That will keep your xsession errors file empty.
