Although physicists may know what values are not realistic, the layman does
not. Therefore there should be some sort of warning when a user enters
unrealistic values. It can be shown that there exist at least one non-physicist
KDE user (me).

I can confirm that with KDE 4.2 on Kubuntu 9.04 alphas the Wobbly Windows
effect is very jerky. Other effects are smooth. This is with the OpenGL and the
XRender options, with the ATI proprietary and the FOSS drivers. I do not have
an Intel or Nvidia machine to check with, though.
