On the basis of that's where it appeared I guess that's it.

This bug caused me a major headache the other day when I tried to upgrade a
hosted drupal web-site. I thought that the upload of the new version had
finished and went to start the upgrade run. The upshot was losing the site for
most of the afternoon while I ended up rebuilding it locally, testing it and
then re-uploading it - but this time checking to see that the copy had finished
by looking at the folder properties file count.
