Confirming that I see the same issue here. After about 2 days usage plasma is
using 25% of my memory (2Gb total) and Qt-Subapplication (which turns out to be
plasma) shows up in xrestop as a biggest user. Interestingly I'm also using
Intel in the 1.6+2.6.1 combo.

Using Mandriva cooker here. I'm not 100% I saw this behaviour before I upgraded
to qt4.5, but it's hard to test that theory right now.
