Summary: RSSNOW: make better use of space when in panel
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: plasma-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: usenbinz@gmx.de

Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Since knewsticker has been dropped I tried to use rssnow in a panel instead.
While the area available to rssnow should be big enough to display the
headlines in a readable way, the way it is currently rendered makes the text
nearly impossible to read in a default sized panel with the text just a few
pixels high (see attached screenshot 1).
Growing the panel (to a somewhat uncomfortable size) makes the text readble,
but the usage of the allocated screen area is still suboptimal since only about
half of the height is really used (see screenshot 2).
So my wish is: I'd like to be able to read RSS headlines in a panel without
having to spend to much vertical screen estate :)
