Whenever New Device Notifier is on my panel AND an external encrypted USB hard
drive is plugged in, plasma seg faults. I.e. it crashes when I start the New
Device Notifier if the HD is already plugged in, and it crashes when i plug it
in if the New Device Notifier is already running.
I have recently (about a week ago) successfully used the HD without plasma
crashing, but fedora updates have run in the mean time.

The USB hard drive is partitioned as follows:
/dev/sdb1 - 498.52GB primary partition with LUCS encrypted ext3 filesystem
/dev/sdb2 - extended partition:
  /dev/sdb5 - 97.65GB logical partition with fat32 filesystem
