I have enabled alternative shortcut on "Switching Options" tab and typed Meta +
Space (i.e. Win key + Space) as the key combination.  It works fine as long as
configuration module is loaded, but stops working at all if I close "System
Settings" window.

Same with standalone window (right click the switcher icon in system tray ->
configure).  Works while that window is open, stops working after closing the
window.
